When we think of architecture, our minds naturally gravitate towards its visual elements. This book explores the interplay of sound, architecture, and mathematics
and how these elements together create our spatial experience. By examining the architectural acoustics of buildings, we uncover a hidden dialogue between space and sound, offering a fuller understanding of how environments influence us. Sound is always surrounding
us — it is impossible to find a space that offers silence. Even the act of turning a page creates a sound unique to
its specific environment.

Ocularcentrism is the privileging of vision over our other senses. This book is fully black and white to strip away that favoritism towards vision and allow the reader to fully be engaged in the material and structure of the book. The
title is split into front and back cover to force the
viewer to engage in the architecture of the book itself.
